Tower Hamlets asked Sherry to create a multi-channel campaign with a dual purpose; to encourage more residents of the borough to make use of the reporting facilities for environmental and nuisance crime whilst increasing resident’s use of the free Council services in these areas. We developed a welcoming, accessible campaign style – Tower Hamlets wanted the campaign to help develop a deeper sense of community across one of the most multi-cultural areas in the country.
Our solution focussed on a ‘togetherness’ concept that was immediately visually accessible to all the people of the borough and particularly those with a historically low engagement level with the council and its services. The campaign was successful in attracting the attention of minority audiences as take up of the council services within these groups showed a marked improvement.
